We believe in artists. We are artists…with a great deal of tech background too. We believe that a healthy worldwide artist community is necessary for human survival. We believe that dedicated artists should not have to work for free. The digital age has brought about “crowd sourcing” which has made a lot of companies huge by standing on the backs of creators on the promise of “exposure.” This is not sustainable.
We believe that turning paintings, sculpture, poetry, films, theater, music, all forms of art, into subtle moving light sculptures is a natural evolution. Think of us as a new kind of publishing platform. We will not only give artists due exposure, we will also provide a secondary revenue stream by re-imagining this art into what we call time paintings, delivered via the Storyclock.
The best way to explain this is by thinking of lithography from the last century, a method for artists to turn their original work into limited edition quality representations. You will continue to own your original art and we will compensate you in the form of a non-exclusive license.
In the next few months, we will be posting about how, even as a traditional artist, you may participate. We have been building tools to help you. Does this seem odd to you. Well it is. This is the bleeding edge.
