Doors Unlocked

Doors Unlocked is a short VR 360 film by Geoffrey Pepos & Cindy Knutsen.  They worked with Seattle’s DESC.org to tell the story of a man who lived in the streets for years and with desc’s help achieved stability with housing.

VR Viewing

To view in VR, You will need some kind of a headset, Gear VR, Google Cardboard, Vive, Oculus, Etc. Yet.

Android

If you got to this page via direct link outside of Facebook, and are running Chrome or Firefox, Link to the VR film.

Otherwise, Install the official YouTube app for Android

Launch the app and search for “Storyclock doors” and you’ll see “Doors Unlocked.” Set the player to VR playback by pushing the little goggle icon.

iPhone

Install the official YouTube app for iOS

Launch the app and search for “Storyclock doors” and you’ll see “Doors Unlocked.” Set the player to VR playback by pushing the little goggle icon.

MAC & PC

If you are running Chrome or Firefox, you will be able to pan-and-scan around. If your default browser is one of these you can launch the film here. Otherwise launch Chrome or Firefox and go to YouTube. Search for “Storyclock doors” and you’ll see “Doors Unlocked.”

If you have an HTC Vive or Oculus, we’ll assume you know how to play 360 content. : )

Note: Safari on MAC doesn’t yet support 360 Video.

Non VR viewing

This is the version we showed on the big screen for a desc.org event early in October.
